Ghana’s Parliament spokesperson Jones Kugblenu is dead


The Director of Public Affairs at Parliament Jones Kugblenu is dead.
He died Tuesday dawn in the United Kingdom.

Confirming the death of M r. Kugblenu, Mr, Dean of the Parliamentary Press Corps says he has been ill for some time and has been seeking medical attention in UK.

Speaking in an interview on a local FM Radio, in Accra, Mr. Arthur said his death came as a big blow to parliament of Ghana.

The late Jones Kugblenu was in charge of Public Affairs Directorate of the Ghana’s  Parliamentary Service,  he coordinates Media and Public Relations work of the lawmaking body, involving the maintenance of continuous liaison with the media, governmental organisations and civil society organisations.

The outfit also deals with matters concerning the Press Gallery.

He also work at the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC).
