Lawra Prison to receive massive rehabilitation

The District Chief Executive for Lawra, Paschal Baylon Dere says the Prison in the district where the first President of Ghana Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah was detained will receive a massive rehabilitation by the end of 2017. 

This will help boost tourism and serve as a source of revenue for the assembly. 

Mr Dere stated this at a public forum to validate the District Medium Term Development Plan of the Assembly at Lawra in the Upper West Region.
