G-RAP Project Takes Off Next Year

With effect from January next year, the Ghana Reading Action Plan, G-RAP which is meant to improve reading and numeracy in children from kindergarten-one to primary-three will take off. 

The $71m project which will be replicated in all the ten regions aims to change lives of children who have little or no access to schools, libraries, educational materials and the internet. 

The Deputy Minister in-charge of Tertiary Education, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa who launched a task force in charge of the project said the ministry will see to the success of the reading programme.
