Bawku shooting: MCE in crunch meeting with Police and opinion leaders

The Bawku Municipal Chief Executive, Issahaku Bukari has met with opinion leaders and the police in Bawku on how to find lasting peace to Sunday’s shooting incident between the police and the youth. 

Sunday, some youth from the area who were angered by the arrest of a Mallam stormed the police station and vandalised police vehicles as well as the door to the armoury. 

Three people were injured in the clash.
