Kpone Thermal Plant to increase power generation

The Director in charge of the Kpone Thermal Plant, Francis Agbenyo says the heavy rainfall in the north coupled with the opening of the Bagre dam will definitely have a positive impact on power generation in the country. 

Speaking to Radio Ghana, Mr Agbenyo said it is however premature to determine the volume of water that will enter the dam as a result. 

Touching on the stage of work on the Kpong thermal Plant, Mr Agbenyo said the engineers have completed the work adding that by October about 200 megawatts of power will be added to the National grid.
