Clergy urged to lead campaign against reckless driving

A call has gone to the clergy to lead a campaign of rigorous education on reckless driving in Ghana. 

This has become necessary due to the number of deaths recorded on the roads. 

Presiding Bishop of the Western West Africa Episcopal of the AME Zion Church, Rt Rev Dr Seth Lartey who made the call said God is not pleased with reckless driving because anyone who deliberately kills another violates God's word which says thou shall not kill. 

He is hopeful that there will be a change if the church is actively involved. 

Rt Rev Dr Lartey stated this at the close of the 116th session of the East Annual General Conference of the church in Accra.
