Calm returns to Bawku after shooting

Calm has been restored to Bawku to the Upper East region following a shooting incident between the police and the youth. 

Three persons sustained injuries after the clash. 

The District Chief Executive, Issalka Bukari who confirmed this to Radio Ghana said a scheduled football match has taken place, a sign that peace has really been restored. 

Mr Bukari said an emergency meeting would be held with the parties involved to understand the underlying cause of the clash.
