Three die in fire at Daboya Three persons have been burnt to death after fire ravaged a five-bedroom house at Daboya in the North Gonja District of the Northern region. An Aspiring Assemblyman of Daboya West, Kwasi Frimpong who confirmed the incident to Radio Savannah said the fire started at about 8: 00 am Saturday after petrol in a container caught up with fire in the kitchen. According to him, residents in the area heard occupants of the house shout for help but as of the time they got to the scene, the entire building had been flamed. He said the fire was later brought under control by residents in the area, but the three persons were burnt beyond recognition. He added that, property running into thousands of Ghana cedis has also been destroyed. Mr. Frimpong noted that, the bodies have since been buried after personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service and the Police Service conducted their investigations to ascertain the cause of the incident.
