Tema doctors attend to patients despite strike Some doctors at the Tema Polyclinic and General Hospital have returned to work three weeks into the GMA strike. A visit to the facilities today revealed that work has returned to normal. At the Tema Polyclinic, the normal queue at consulting rooms has picked up. Most doctors’ parking lots at the hospital were occupied. All other departments were also opened and nurses at the Out Patient Department (OPD) were busily attending to patients. Some patients at the Polyclinic expressed joy with the return of some of the doctors, hoping that by close of the week the rest will resume work. At the Tema General Hospital, the place was not as busy as the Polyclinic, since few patients were seen waiting at the OPD. GBC
