Afoko denied bail as families clash in court

There was a near bloody clash on Tuesday at the Cocoa Affairs Court premises in Accra between some family members of the late Upper East Regional Chairman of the NPP and that of Gregory Afoko. 

This was after the Human Rights Court has refused to grant bail to Afoko who has been accused of murdering the late Adams Mahama last May, after allegedly pouring acid on him. 

The judge, Justice Ken Okwabi dismissing the bail application said the facts against the accused are well laid and is of the view that Afoko is very much connected to the crime.
