Libya PM withdraws offer to resign Libya's Prime Minister, Abdullah al-Thani, has rescinded his decision to resign, a move which would have added to the chaos in the conflict-strewn country. The Prime Minister backed down from his announcement and did not submit his resignation. The government is working as normal and is ready to go to Parliament for any possible questioning. Mr Thani announced he was stepping down during an emotional live television appearance last Tuesday in which he faced a barrage of questions from ordinary Libyans. NEWS24
