Private educational institutions to support govt to ensure accessible education

The President of the Ghana National Association of Private Schools, GNAPS, Godwin Sowah, says government alone cannot provide quality education without support from private educational institutions. 

According to him, quality education at all levels is expensive and can only thrive in a successful and healthy economy. 

Mr Sowah was speaking at the opening of the 5th National Delegates Conference of GNAPS in Ho. 

He urged all communities to take quality education delivery as their responsibility to ensure a better future. 

In a speech read on her behalf, the Volta Regional Minister, Helen Ntoso entreated heads of institutions to instill hard work and discipline in their students to enable them to pass examinations without engaging in malpractices. 

The Acting Volta Regional Director of Education, Alexander Boadi said his outfit is collaborating with GNAPS to come out with strategies to ensure accessible education. 

He commended the association for its immense contribution to quality education delivery in the country.
