Ex-President Kufuor raises concern over falling standards in education

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor says the standard of education and performance at the Primary and Senior High School levels are declining despite efforts by Colleges and Universities of Education in the training and upgrading of professional teachers in the country. 

He noted that conduct of examination with regards to compliance with regulation and the reported leakages are all matters of grave concern that needs collective approach in finding a lasting solutions.  

Former President Kufuor made this known during his conferment with a Honorary Doctorate Degree and other three distinguish personalities at a congregation by the University College of Education, Winneba.
