Lecturer condemns doctors over prolonged strike

A senior lecturer at the Accra Polytechnic Dr. Abraham Lubriu has condemned the persistent stance of the GMA to hold the taxpayer to ransom.  

He said henceforth, doctors should be recruited on contract basis to allow the committed ones to serve the people.  

Dr. Lubriu also asked colleague lecturers to always exercise patience when negotiating for service conditions.  

He said the conditions of service of Polytechnic Teachers Association of Ghana (POTAG) and University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) have expired and these should be negotiated as early as possible to ensure stability on the labour front.
