Members Of GMA Resolve to Remain On Strike For Another Two Weeks Ghanaian doctors have resolved to remain on strike for another two weeks. This follows the crunch meeting held by the Members of the Ghana Medical Association (GMA) in Accra on Friday. The GMA took collective decision to continue with the strike initiated to press on their demands for a better conditions of service. The doctors decided to continue with their strike and review their decision in two weeks if their conditions of service are not met. Earlier public sector doctors had threatened to resign en masse if government failed to agree with them on their conditions of service. They scheduled to resign today but after the meeting, however, they collectively decided to extend the strike for another two weeks and review their decision. GBC
