The Daily Graphic lauds efforts to nurture young entrepreneurs. The Paper says the establishment of the Youth Enterprise Support, YES, initiative will help address the country's unemployment problem. The Graphic thinks the initiative is a good start to encourage young people to start their own businesses. It urges pessimists to give the initiative their support, so that the gradual journey towards making graduate unemployment an insignificant phenomenon will be realised. 

The Ghanaian Times is worried over the downward trend of both the BECE and WASSEC results. The Paper wants the authorities to question the quality of education delivered to students and its impact on the socio-economic development on the country. It says the knowledge being imparted to them should be validated to ensure it has a bearing on national aspirations as the subjects taught at the basic level are too structured and only end up alienating children from their roots.
