Part of N1 to be closed down on Thursday Parts of the N1 highway will be closed to traffic on Thursday for construction work on the main bridge of the Kasoa Interchange to begin. The 172.6 million-dollar project comprises the construction of 200m of an interchange bridge, a new roundabout, drainage and public lighting, 2000m of Accra-Cape Coast Highway, local roads within the catchment of the interchange and 1640m of road towards Nyanyano and Bawjiase. When completed, the interchange would have an upper level flyover in the Accra-Winneba direction to allow free and easy access to the main flyover from all four directions. Authorities in charge have indicated that alternative roads have been prepared for free flow of traffic. citifm
