CPP says merger plans with PNC towards 2016 elections far advanced

The CPP says the party is working with the PNC for a merger to contest the 2016 elections. 

The General Secretary, Ivor Greenstreet told Radio Ghana, they are only waiting to forge a strong alliance before they schedule a date for a Congress to elect a Presidential candidate.

He said the Party has also almost completed arrangements towards the election of Executive Officers to steer the affairs of the party for the next four years.
