Ajumako-Bisease grateful to President Mahama

The Chiefs and people of Ajumako Bisease in the Central region have expressed their profound gratitude to President John Mahama and the NDC government for fulfilling all the promises made to them since 2009. 

They have therefore resolved to continuously support the President in all his efforts to transform Ghana. 

Speaking at a grand durbar to climax this year's Abangye festival in Ajumako Bisease the Omanhen, Nana Okofo Kwakora Gyan mentioned the town roads, street lights, potable water, nursing training school, accommodation facilities for Bisease SHS, a new market and a polyclinic. 

He said twenty-seven other communities under Ajumako Biseasi continue to enjoy their fair share of development. 

When Radio Ghana visited most of the sites, the projects were at advanced stages of completion. The roads are almost complete, just waiting to be tarred. 

At the site for the new polyclinic, the construction of the nursing training school and other essential facilities are progressing and work on the polyclinic will soon begin in earnest after being delayed due to issues with the land.

Nana Okofo Kwakora Gyan said Ajumako Biseasi owes President Mahama and the NDC government a debt of gratitude and they will reciprocate at the appropriate time. 

Deputy Minister of Finance and MP for Ajumako-Enyan-Esiam, Cassiel Ato Forson, thanked the people for reposing confidence in President Mahama's government and acknowledging the unprecedented achievements of the government in the area. 

He assured them that as their MP, he will continue to do more for them to also enjoy the transformation agenda of the President.

Mr Ato Forson announced that President Mahama will be in Ajumako Biseasi to celebrate the next Abangye in 2016 with the people. 

He announced that he will contest the upcoming NDC parliamentary primaries and represent the constituency for a third term. 

The Distrct Chief Executive (DCE), for Ajumako-Enyan-Esiam, Peter Light Koomson, said through the leadership of President Mahama and Ato Forson, the district is enjoying unprecedented level of development spread across every single community. 

He said all projects under different stages of construction will be completed on time.
