Court adjourns Afoko's bail application The Human Rights Court in Accra has adjourned hearing of a bail application by one of the three persons charged with the murder of the Upper East Regional Chairman of the NPP Adams Mahama to next Tuesday. The accused, Gregory Afoko has filed the application at the court to secure his bail after the Accra Magistrate denied him. The adjournment is to enable the judge, Justice Ken Okwabi study the docket which was transferred to him Friday morning. Gregory was denied bail by the lower court because it had no jurisdiction to do so and the presiding judge Worlanyo Kotoku advised him to go to the High Court. His accomplice, Issah Musah who has been charged with abetment has however been granted bail by the magistrate court. The accused persons are alleged to have attacked Mr Mahama with acid leading to his death. GBC
