Ministries must pay bills or face disconnection – Power Minister

The Ministry of power has directed GRIDCO to disconnect power supply to any Ministry, Department or Agency that has failed to pay its electricity bills.  

The sector Minister, Dr. Kwabena Donkor, who gave the directive said, cost of electricity is becoming expensive and that MMDA's need to pay their bills to ensure continuous supply of power.  

The Minister was speaking during a courtesy call on the Deputy Upper West Regional Minister, Dr. Musheibu Mohammed Alfa, as part of his two day working visit to the Region.
