349 girls dropout of school in Sissala East District due to pregnancy

A research conducted in the Sissala East District of the Upper West Region by Action for Sustainable Development, ASUDEV a local NGO has revealed that about 349 school girls in the district dropped out of school within the 2013/2014 academic year and the first two terms of this year, as a result of teenage pregnancy whilst marriage by abduction accounted for many others.
