Accra Psychiatric Hospital nurses on strike

Some nurses at the Accra Psychiatric hospital are on a sit down strike. 

The decision follows government’s inability to settle what they say is their long standing salary arrears. 

Spokesperson for the aggrieved nurses, Emmanuel Febri said despite the diplomatic steps taken to resolve their grievances the Ministry of Health has not shown any interest in resolving the impasse.
