Calm returns to Karaga and Salaga after students rioting

The Northern regional Police PRO, ASP Ebenezer Tetteh says there is calm at both the Kalaga and Salaga Senior High Schools.

He told Radio Ghana both schools had to be closed down following a DISEC meeting on Salaga.

ASP Tetteh said the Police are on the ground to maintain order. 

He was not happy about some media reports about tension in Bimbilla.

He said the reports were inaccurate. ASP Tetteh stated emphatically that there is no renewed tension in Bimbilla.
