Ghana: Scrap Metal Trade

A growing trend which is giving cause for worry is the practice where some scrap metal dealers in parts of Accra pile up the scraps along the roads and pedestrian walkways. In Nima, Alajo, Maamobi and Avenor, the heaps of scrap metals have taken portions of the road making vehicular movement difficult.
