Jordan Ayew seals 5-year deal with Aston Villa

Ghana international Jordan Ayew has sealed a five-year deal with Aston Villa.

The 23-year-old who is joining the English side from Lorient said he is delighted about the deal.

Ayew, from Marseille, arrives at Villa Park following the acquisitions of fellow Ligue 1 players Jordan Amavi and Idrissa Gueye.

"I'm really pleased to bring Jordan to the football club," Manager Tim Sherwood said in a statement.

"He is a fantastic young player who is perfectly suited to the Premier League."

Ayew completed his medical at Bodymoor Heath Monday before meeting his new team-mates for the first time.
