CAGD assures Junior Doctors of payment of salary arrears this month

The Public Relations Officer of the Controller and Accountant General's Department, Gilbert Nyaledzigbo, has assured Junior Doctors across the country that the arrears of their salaries will be paid this month. 

He said the delay in the payment can be attributed to the fact that their particulars as new doctors have still not been captured in the payroll system of the Ministry of Health.

Mr. Nyaledzigbo gave the assurance in an interview with Radio Ghana on the heels of threats by the junior doctors to besiege the offices of the Controller and Accountant General's Department.
