Breakthrough for malaria vaccine for children Researchers of malaria vaccines and medicines are asking stakeholders especially the Ministry of Health to fast track the procedure of the newly malaria vaccine developed in order to lessen the burden the disease places on the nation. In an interview with Radio Ghana, the head of research at the Kintampo Health Research Centre, Dr. Kwaku Poku Asante, said the new malaria vaccine is a welcoming news since the disease, despite various interventions to control it continues to lead OPD cases.
