The Daily Graphic appeals to government especially the Minister of Power, Dr Kwabena Donkor, to work hard to resolve the power crisis by the end of the year as he has promised. The paper says it appreciates efforts underway to update the power capacity but it is equally important to pay attention to renewable energy so that in the near future there is no other excuse for another long bout of dumsor. 

The Ghanaian Times joins Ghanaians and all well-wishers to bid the late footballer, coach and Manager ''Sir" Cecil Jones Attuquafio who led Accra Hearts of Oak to victory on several occasions farewell. The paper says the late coach has indeed paid his dues and left a legacy that would be difficult to surpass by both present and future sportsmen and women. The Times therefore urges all Ghanaians to take a cue from the tall list of his achievements and emulate him.
