Parliament goes on recess Parliament has lowered the curtain on its second meeting for the third session of the House. Addressing the House before going on recess, the Speaker, Edward Doe Adjaho, said he has been impressed with the work of MPs, especially those in the Minority who lost their seat in the NPP primaries recently. He said action has been taken to forestall future power cuts in the house. The Majority Leader, Alban Bagbin, recounted the major business the House had transacted during their forty three sitting days. He commended the Staff and Press Corps of Parliament for a good job done. The Minority Leader, Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu, congratulated the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Mrs. Charlotte Osei on her appointment to that office. GBC
