Obama admits US gun laws are his 'biggest frustration'

President Barack Obama is due to land in Kenya later today. 

He said he would be speaking "bluntly" against corruption and human rights violations in Kenya as well as defend his advocacy for gay rights following protests in that country. 

Meanwhile, President Obama has admitted that his failure to pass the "common sense gun safety laws" in the US is the greatest frustration of his presidency. 

In an interview, Mr Obama said it is "distressing" not to have made progress on the issue "even in the face of repeated mass killings".
