Human Rights Court Orders Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital To Reinstate Director Of Pharmacy

The Human Rights Court has ordered Korle Bu Teaching Hospital to reinstate the dismissed Director of Pharmacy, Elizabeth Bruce. 

Mrs Bruce filed the suit at the court against the Board Chairman and the CEO, Dr Gilbert Buckle.

At the last sitting, the Judge, Justice Kofi Essel Mensah advised the parties to settle on an agreement. 

The two officials of the hospital Thursday announced to the court that they have written a letter reinstating Mrs Bruce to her former position as Director of Pharmacy but her interdiction is still effective. 

In view of this, Justice Essel Mensah made the order and awarded a GH¢2,000.00 cost against the two officials of the hospital.
