The Ghanaian Times writes on the joyous celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr to mark the end of Ramadan. The paper observed that in some areas, particularly muslim communities where street carnivals and motorbike displays were held, many roads were blocked. The Times believes street carnivals and motorbike displays are not a problem but the inconvenience caused many road-users is a matter of concern as it often leads to traffic jams. The paper advises celebrants to take note of concerns of the public to celebrate in a manner acceptable to all. 

The Daily Graphic commends efforts by the Bank of Ghana in pumping twenty million dollars into the economy daily, a development that has stabilised the cedi against the dollar and other currencies. The paper thinks the feat, should not call for celebration but rather a diligent stock taking of what went wrong and what could be done right. The Graphic believes if gains in the past had been invested in productive ventures, the country would not have faced the economic challenges it has been experiencing. The paper pleads with the authorities to invest the inflows into the productive sectors of the economy to get maximum returns.
