Muslims Worldwide Mark Eid-Ul-Fitr 

As Muslims all over the World mark Eid ul-Fitr, the festival of sharing tomorrow, the Chairman of the Muslim caucus in Parliament, Dr. Alhaji Alhassan Ahmed Yakubu, has charged the youth to act with utmost decorum in their celebrations.

In an interview with GBC’s Radio Ghana, Alhaji Alhassan said concluding the month long holy abstinence calls for jubilation but should be done in a peaceful atmosphere in order to receive total blessings that comes with it.

Meanwhile, Muslims of the Ahlusunna Wal Jama'a sect, have observed the end of the thirty day fasting or Ramadan with intercessory prayers for the country at the Efua Sutherland Park.

Minister of State in Charge of Public Private Sector Development, Alhaji Rashid Pelpuo, in an address on behalf of the President advised  muslims to promote peace and avoid violence at all times.
