NDPC engages leadership of political parties on 40-yr development policy The Director General of the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC), Dr. Nii Moi Thompson has called on the leadership of the People's National Convention (PNC), the Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP) and the Former Majority Leader of Parliament, J.H Mensah in Accra. The Interaction formed part of the NDPC's consultations to engage all political parties on the Draft 40 Year National Headquarters, Dr. Thompson said he was on a mission to solicit the input of all political parties and social groups. The General Secretary of the PNC, Bernard Monarh said the party endorses the commission's approach to solicit views of all major actors and lauded the NDPC for following the precedent set by the first President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. The GCPP leader, Dr. Henry Lartey also gave the support of the party to the draft Policy, which he said will encourage inclusive governance. Former majority leader of Parliament, J.H. Mensah bemoaned the rate at which previous regimes kept, changing national policies which he said his blessings to the Commission and was grateful for the courtesy call. GBC
