Monday declared as a public holiday

President John Mahama has by executive instrument declared Monday 20th July 2015 as a public holiday.

A statement signed by the Minister for the Interior, Mark Woyongo said this has become necessary because 18th July which marks Eid-Ul-Fitr falls on Saturday.

The statement informs Ghanaians to observe the day as such throughout the country.
