16-year-old, 2 others arrested in SIM box fraud swoop

A 16-year-old Nicholas Ntsu and two others have been arrested in Tema for sim box fraud.

The three are partners with a yet to be identified Lebanese national and a sim cards retailer.

The three were arrested in a joint operation which included the Police, NCA, the Telecommunication operators and Subah.

Through their illegal activities, they have occasioned a loss of almost two hundred thousand dollars in revenues to the state.

The PRO of Police CID, ASP Joseph Darkwa has been speaking more on the matter in this interview with Abraham Donkor.
