Bimbilla conflict affecting power supply to five districts

The conflict at Bimbilla is affecting many people outside the Bimbilla Township in diverse ways.

One main problem is the supply of electricity to about five districts such as Krachi West, Krachi Nchumuru, Kpandai, Nkwanta North, Wulensi and surrounding areas.  

This is because the VRA transmission sub-station from the North to these districts is located at Bimbilla.  

As a result of the violence, VRA staff scheduled to manage the station are also not regular at post.
