Potable water goes waste at Adenta and environs few months after restoration Early this year, the President, John Dramani Mahama inaugurated the expanded water project at Kpong with a ten-acre reservoir at Dodowa for supply of water to residents of Adentan, Madina and their environs. It was all joy for the residents, to see water flow through their taps for the first time in many years. However, a few months after the restoration of water to these areas, the residents appear to be negligent of its proper use Radio Ghana’s correspondent, George Ankrah has been on the ground and reports that residents who struggled in the past to get water, now allow potable water to go waste. According to him, the pipes in most homes are over flowing because of their reluctance to fix defective stop gaps on their polytanks. GBC
