Yoks Car Rentals rewards staff Yoks Car Rentals, an indigenous car rental company, is collaborating with the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana to establish a training institute for staff. The training would enhance the capacity of staff to better serve the company’s clientele in the car rental business. Mr Seth Yeboah Ocran, Chief Executive Officer, Yoks Car Rentals, said this during an award ceremony to reward outstanding members of staff for their excellent performance in the 2014 operational year. He said management instituted the awards scheme to honour hard work and excellence and to also promote healthy competition among staff. Mr Ocran said the company appreciated the contributions of staff to the development of the company making it one of the best car rental firms in the country. “It gives me great pleasure to see staf, who have contributed in various ways to the achievement of organisational targets being rewarded for a great work done,” he said. Mr Ocran said Yoks would continue to maintain high professional standards to uplift the image of the car rental business and also improve on its services to stakeholders in the tourism industry. He said the company is the leader in car rental services in Ghana, with astute professionals and well trained drivers, giving businesses the service, value and convenience they expected. Mr Ocran said in the coming months management would secure additional eight to 10 cars to add to the existing fleet to better serve the growing number of clients. He said Yoks would introduce an executive rental services and a driver out-sourcing service for its prestigious clients. The individuals were awarded in the following categories including Day and Night Operational Assistance, Best Customer Care and Security. The winners took home a certificate, citation and undisclosed amount of money. The awardees include Kennedy Mr Gyeke Boafo, Mr John Bossman Banna, Mr Robertson Laryea and Ms Hannah Gyimah. Ms Gyimah, who emerged the overall winner, told the GNA that the awards meant a lot to her performance and pledged to commit more to the delivery of customer service. GNA
