Tunisia attack: British Nationals asked to leave country

British nationals are being asked to leave Tunisia due to fear of a further terrorist attack. 

The British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond says although the Tunisian authorities have put in place more security measures since the June attack, these did not provide "adequate protection for British tourists". 

The Foreign Office estimates two thousand five hundred to three thousand UK tourists are in Tunisia and a few hundred British residents. 

There is no specific threat, but travel firms are seeking to fly Britons out over the next few days and some are repatriating their British staff. 

Thirty Britons were among the thirty-eight tourists killed in a gunman's attack on June 26.
