Go ahead with Kofi Jumah prosecution – AG The Attorney General has asked the Police to go ahead with the prosecution of former Member of Parliament for Asokwa, Maxwell Kofi Jumah and his campaign coordinator, Oscar Riches. This was contained in the AG`s advice following the petition submitted to it by the two suspects. Superintendent Emmanuel Akonnor, who informed the Court of the advice, asked for time for his team to prepare adequately to start the trial. The case has been adjourned to the 6th of next month for the trial to begin. The accused persons petitioned the AG to take over the case and advise the police on whether to go ahead with the prosecution or not. The case has been adjourned three times due to the fact that the AG`s office had not furnished the prosecution team with its advice. GRAPHIC
