Jayee, Data Link universities to cease fresh admissions

The National Accreditation Board, NAB, has ordered two private tertiary institutions to stop admitting fresh students. 

The institutions are Data Link University College and Jayee University College. 

The Executive Secretary of the Board, Kwame Dattey, who announced this at a seminar for journalists in Accra cited under-staffing at Jayee University College and congestion at Data Link University as reasons for the action. 

He said any tertiary institution that fails to comply with laid down rules and directives of the Board will be sanctioned.
