FDA cautions public on fake Vemox tablets The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has cautioned the Public against the distribution and sale of fake Vermox tablets on the Ghanaian market. The FDA with the assistance of Jassen Cilag a pharmaceutical Company found batches of fake vermox tablets in some shops in the Greater Accra, Ashanti and Western Regions. The Head of Drugs Enforcement Department of the FDA, Thomas Amedzro said the batches of the drug contained no active ingredients. Mr Amedzro said pharmacies, licensed chemical shops, hospitals, clinics and all other health facilities having stock of vermox with the following batch numbers- DALO XOO, CI8JOI, DBL4GO1, DHL2ZOO and BU1VO1, are advised to immediately hand over those products to any of the FDA Offices across the country.
