Volta Region urged to take advantage of  proposed Ebola vaccine trial

The Volta Regional Director of Health Services, Dr Joseph Nuertey, has urged the Region to take advantage of the proposed Ebola vaccine trial at Hohoe to market itself.  

He said the successful execution of the exercise will include the Region among the list of communities, which helped in finding solutions to the Ebola Viral Disease.  

Dr. Nuertey was addressing a public forum in Ho, following agitations across the country that such a trial could expose the people to the disease.

He said there was no way anyone could be infected with the disease from the clinical trial.
