Talensi By-election: Reports of sporadic shooting 

There are reports of sporadic shooting in Talensi following a clash between supporters of the ruling NDC and the opposition NPP.

This according to our correspondent have resulted in some injuries and damage of vehicles and properties.

Meanwhile the security agencies are said to be in control of the situation.

In a related development, the police has refuted reports of clashes and arrest in Talensi. According to the police everything is going on smoothly.

The Talensi by-election is seen as a straight 'fight' between the ruling NDC Party who have previously held the seat for over 20 years until the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) took it in the 2012 general elections.
