Al Shabaab gunmen kill 14 in attack on Kenyan workers
	
Gunmen in Kenya have killed some quarry workers in an overnight attack on a residential complex. 

Secretary General of Kenya Red Cross, Abbas Gullet, , said the workers were attacked while they slept in Mandera town, leading to the death of at least 14 people.

Somalia-based Islamic militant group al Shabaab has in the past carried out similar attacks, including one in December in the same county in which 36 quarry workers were killed.
