US vows support for Nigeria after attacks

The United States has promised to support Nigeria after a series of deadly attacks by Boko Haram.

State Department spokesperson John Kirby in a statement said those responsible must face justice.

The Islamists have launched series of attacks on mosques, villages and markets in Borno state in the past few days, claiming more than 200 lives.

A suicide bomber on Sunday blew himself up inside a church killing five worshippers.
