No Job Cuts In IMF bailout conditions - Prez Mahama


President John Dramani Mahama has denied any impending retrenchment exercise in the public service as part of the IMF bailout conditions. 

There have been reports of an IMF intervention which will result in massive job cuts in the public sector. Following the reports, the Trades Union Congress (TUC) has served notice that it will resist any attempts to do so. 

However, delivering a keynote address at the 8th Conference of the Public Service Chief Directors and Chair Persons of governing boards and Council in Koforidua, the President  John Dramani Mahama said the speculations are not true.
