Two killed, 60 injured in Bolga-Tamale road accident

Two persons have been confirmed dead this morning in a fatal accident on the Bolgatanga-Tamale highway.

About 60 passengers including five minors sustained various degrees of injuries and are currently receiving medical attention at the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital.

The accident which occurred on the Awaara Road in the Talensi District involves a DAF Neoplan Bus and a KIA heavy duty truck. 

Police say personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service had a hectic time rescuing the injured persons.
